Before choosing a fabric, get a clear picture of the window. Note the width and height of the opening, the position of the rail or pole, and how far you want the curtains to extend.

Measure the rail, not just the glass

If a rail or pole is already installed, record its full usable width. Curtain fullness depends on the heading style, so do not use that measurement as your final fabric width without checking.

Choose your finished length

Measure from the intended hanging point to the sill or floor. Check both sides and the centre because floors and window frames may not be perfectly level.

Include nearby walls, furniture and any obstructions. Share your measurements with our team so we can discuss an appropriate finish before quoting.
